James is originally from Cambridgeshire and qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018. Since graduation James has worked full time as a farm vet and joined the Cross Counties Farm Vets team in 2021 to be closer to his family. James is interested in infectious disease, with BVD and it's eradication a particular interest in that field. He also enjoys herd health work, lameness and pigs.

In his personal life, he enjoys finding interesting walks with his dogs, taking on DIY projects at home and going rock climbing and bouldering when he can.
