  • Jessica Swiestowska - Cross Counties Welford (HQ Print)

    Dr Jessica Swiestowska

    Clinical Director

    MA VetMB CertAVP MRCVS

    Jessica graduated from Cambridge Vet School in 2011 and worked at a mixed practice before joining our team as an intern, before establishing our Daventry branch in 2014. She is passionate about all livestock work, especially surgery, and enjoys spending her free time with her family and dog, training for endurance challenges, travelling and baking.

    Dr Alexandra Rose

    BVSc MRCVS

    Alex graduated from Liverpool University in 2012, and is a clinical director for our practice  and Broughton Veterinary Group. She is particularly interested in disease control, health planning and reproduction, and is experienced in dairy fertility work, calvings, lambings and prolapses. Her hobbies include gardening, DIY, walking and relaxing with friends and family.

    Mel grew up on a beef and sheep farm and graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2014. Before joining our team, she spent the next two years working in mixed practice and travelling. Outside of work, she loves exploring the countryside with her dog, watching rugby, playing netball and baking.

    Dr Alba Moran

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVM&S MRCVS

    Alba graduated from the University of Cardenal Herrera in Valencia in 2012, and worked around the country and at a Malawi wildlife sanctuary before joining us. In her own time, she enjoys  travelling, yoga, walking her dog, Freddie, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Cross Counties - Georgina Barnhurst

    Dr Georgina Rigby

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVSc MRCVS

    Gina graduated in 2018, and worked at a farm practice in Worcestershire before joining us in 2020. She has a small flock of sheep at home, sits on the committee for the Sheep Veterinary Society and runs the Cross Counties Flock Health Club. She is also a Milksure registered vet. Her other clinical passions include surgery and health planning.

    Dr Sophie Offer

    Sophie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2019, the same year she joined Westpoint Vets. She enjoys all aspects of her role, especially calving, lambing and caesareans. Outside of work, her hobbies include walking, paddle boarding, football and crocheting. 

  • James Barker - Cross Counties Welford (HQ Print)

    Originally from Cambridgeshire, James graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018 and joined us three years later. His clinical interests include infectious disease control, herd health work, lameness and pigs. When he’s not working, he enjoys walking his dogs, tackling home DIY projects, rock climbing and bouldering.

  • Sky Tetlow - Cross Counties Welford (HQ Print)

    Dr Sky Tetlow

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Hailing from the West Midlands, Sky joined us after graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2023. She enjoys all aspects of her work, particularly bovine and ovine fertility, herd health and surgery. In her own time, ‘she loves performing in local theatre productions and spending time with family and friends.

  • Cross Counties - Lauren Eaton

    Lauren Eaton

    Veterinary Technician, SQP & ATT

    Lauren grew up on a sheep and beef farm, has a degree in applied animal studies and is a qualified SQP. She initially joined us as a small animal receptionist, before joining our vet tech team in 2020. She has her own small flock of sheep, as well as two dogs, four cats, a tortoise and fish.

    Stephanie qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1992, and spent 30 years working in small animal practice, qualifying as a clinical animal behaviourist in 2010. She has had many pets of her own over the years, but is currently fancy free, allowing her to travel often.
